Note from your Festival Committee

It is with great regret, given the growing threat, that the members of the volunteer committee that run your Kelvedon Community Festival have taken the decision to cancel this year's festival due to COVID-19

COVID-19 is an unprecedented threat, touching all of our lives and we all need to do our bit to protect the most vulnerable in our community

Our top priority in this unsettling time is your well-being, and doing what we can to mitigate the impact of the virus on our communities

We run a not-for-profit festival and rely heavily on the fundraising efforts of the community (and committee volunteers especially) to pay for much of the equipment and facilities; we cannot afford to take the risk of paying out for equipment and services needed for the event only for it to be cancelled at a later date

Governments, scientists and medical advisors are asking people to help limit or slow transmission, therefore we are unfortunately unable to proceed with the planned fundraisers needed for the festival to run in July

We thank everyone for their continued support of Kelvedon Music Festival over the past 20 years, and please be assured, we will be back in 2021, bigger and better than ever!

Please do what you can to support your festival and make sure we can host next year

- every donation helps to keep this going (when health allows)
